10,000 Stitches Podcast, Episode 6 - Work it

January 13, 2016

Links to things I mentioned:

  • Jeck socks
  • Blueberry Waffle socks
  • Melisandre socks
  • Basket Weave Rib socks (help me pick yarn for these - lilac or blue/brown?)
  • Fish Lips Kiss heel
  • Ribbed socks KAL thread
  • Knitting Expat Podcast (be sure to check out her January Sockathon!)
  • Sticks + Twine Podcast
  • This is the website for the bags I was talking about - here are the super cool giant totes I was failing to describe

Definitely feeling like there's something I forgot to link - if you notice it, please let me know!

Question of the week:

Have you ever gotten a non-knitting injury that has impacted your ability to knit?  For me, it's usually burning my hands out of my own stupidity.  Got a story you're willing to share?

If you want to see more of my knitting, feel free to befriend me on Ravelry or Instagram.

There's also a Ravelry group that can be found here, if you enjoy that sort of thing...

Sometimes, I take pictures of things...

Just finished my first pair of “work socks” here in AL! These have lived in my desk drawer since the start of the year and I get a few rows done when I’m in meetings or debugging code. The stripes matching up after the gusset was 10
Spherical farm animals found in the wild!
New podcast is up! Wherein I only talk about ~one~ project and why I’m going to shift my focus to being a very monogamous knitter for a while. Curious? Links to everywhere you can find it are in my profile. :-)
The body is finished! I kitchenered all 221 stitches of ribbing to the bottom because apparently I hate myself *a lot* but I really like how clean the bottom edge looks.
